Mark Woerner

Mark Woerner currently serves as the Head of Engineering & Development for BU Secondary Packaging at Syntegon since November 2021, having previously held the position of Director of Engineering & Development at the same company. Prior experience includes leadership roles in construction and development at Liebherr Mischtechnik from June 2018 to July 2021, and a research-focused position as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Stuttgart’s Institute for System Dynamics from March 2012 to May 2018. Mark Woerner also acted as the interim managing director for Laitsch from May 2008 to November 2011. Educational qualifications comprise a Ph.D. in Technical Cybernetics, obtained from the University of Stuttgart in August 2017, and a Diplom-Ingenieur in Technology Management from the same institution, completed in May 2008.
