Katrin Olausson has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Katrin is currently working as a Senior Consultant at Syntell AB since August 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Project Manager at FMV - Försvarets materielverk from February 2015 to August 2021. Before that, Katrin worked as a Consultant at Katrinautic from May 2007 to December 2018. Katrin also has academic experience, having completed a Licentiate's Degree Project at KTH Royal Institute of Technology from August 2012 to February 2015, where they focused on evaluating and modeling human exposure to vibration and shock on planing high-speed craft. Additionally, they completed a Master's Degree Project at the same institution in early 2012. Earlier in their career, Katrin worked as a Salesperson at Akademibokhandeln from January 2008 to January 2012.
Katrin Olausson attended the KTH Royal Institute of Technology from 2007 to 2012, where they earned a Master's Degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering. Katrin also obtained additional certifications such as the "Fartygsbefälsexamen klass VIII" from Högskolan i Kalmar in 2008 and the "Maskinbefälsexamen klass VIII" from Chalmers University of Technology in the same year. In 2010, they completed a program called "Certifikat i snabba fartyg" at Transportstyrelsen. In 2010 to 2011, they also studied Mechanical Engineering at EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne). Subsequently, from 2012 to 2015, they pursued a Licentiate degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering at the KTH Royal Institute of Technology.
