Mikael Tjernlund

Mikael Tjernlund has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Mikael is currently the CEO of Syntell AB, where they provide consulting services and integrated solutions to sectors such as aerospace & defense, rail & transportation, and medtech. Additionally, they serve as a Member of the Board at the Swedish Security and Defence Industry Association and Stilog AB.

In the past, Tjernlund served as the CEO of Sjöland & Thyselius AB, a consulting company specializing in technologically advanced systems. Mikael also held the position of President and CEO at Sjöland och Thyselius Aerodynamics Research Centre AB, where they transformed the company's operation from a government-funded institute to a commercial entity.

Tjernlund has experience in business development and management, having been the President of Generic Technology AB, where they established and expanded the operation. Mikael also served as a Business Area Manager at ÅF-Communicator AB, responsible for broadening the operation from Swedish defense to communication industries, operators, and public authorities.

Earlier in their career, Tjernlund worked as a Consultant and Business Unit Manager at Communicator AB, and was a Business Area Manager at Celsius Consulting AB before it was acquired by Saab.

Throughout their career, Tjernlund has demonstrated strong leadership skills and a track record of successfully managing organizations and driving growth.

From 1986 to 1990, Mikael Tjernlund attended Uppsala University, where they pursued a degree in Engineering Physics. Mikael successfully completed their Master of Science (MSc) in the same field.
