Erica Wood, MA, LPCC-S has extensive work experience in various roles within the mental health and counseling field. Following this, they attended Heidelberg University from 1997 to 2001, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education and Music.

In 2001, Erica Wood pursued further education and enrolled at Lesley University, where they completed a Master of Arts degree in Mental Health Counseling and Expressive Therapy in 2003. During their time at Lesley University, they also obtained certification as a Music Therapist-Board Certified from the Certification Board of Music Therapists in May 2003.

In 2005, they attended George Mason University for postgraduate studies in Education/Teaching of Individuals with Emotional Disturbances.
