Marie Semana

Marie Semana is an accomplished scientist with extensive experience in pharmacology and immuno-oncology. Currently serving as a Scientist I and Senior Research Associate at Synthekine since March 2020, Marie specializes in in vivo pharmacology. Prior to this role, Marie worked at Merck from September 2017 to March 2020 as a Research Associate Specialist II, where responsibilities included assisting in the research and development of therapeutic drugs and performing various in vivo procedures. Marie's earlier experience includes an Application Scientist Intern position at Molecular Devices, focused on bio production development, and an Oral Surgeon Assistant role at Silicon Valley OMS. Marie holds a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology with a minor in Chemistry from San Jose State University and an Associate's degree in Biology from Mission College.
