Abdó Roig Maranges

Abdó Roig Maranges is a seasoned professional in the field of computer vision and machine learning, currently serving as a Senior Computer Vision Software Engineer at Synthesia since June 2023. Prior to this role, Abdó worked as a Machine Learning Specialist at IMIDomics Inc. from January 2022 to March 2023, and held positions at Scaled Robotics as Director of Engineering and Software Engineer from October 2018 to December 2021. Abdó's earlier experience includes working as an R&D Developer at Neural Labs and as a Scientific Adjoint at Uniwersytet Warszawski. Abdó also has a rich academic background, having served as an Assistant Professor and Predoctoral Researcher at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. Abdó holds a PhD in Mathematics with a focus on Algebraic Geometry from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya and a degree in Mathematics from the Facultat de Matemàtiques i Estadística.
