Fuou Xu

Fuou Xu is an experienced Application Security Engineer currently employed at Synthesia since September 2023. Previously, Fuou served as Director of Security at Remote from December 2021 to June 2023 and as Manager of Application Security at Philip Morris International for 2021. An extensive tenure at Checkmarx included roles as Appsec Research Team Leader and Application Security Analyst from October 2016 to December 2020. Educational background includes a Master's Degree in Informatics Engineering - Information Systems and a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Industrial Management, both obtained from Universidade de Coimbra between 2011 and 2017. Additionally, Fuou gained valuable experience as a Software Engineer Intern at Unbabel and through a Summer Internship at Faber Ventures in 2016.
