Gabe Stern

Gabe Stern currently serves as General Counsel at Synthesia since November 2023, having previously held the same position at Retool from August 2022 to November 2023. Prior experience includes General Counsel and Vice President, Legal at Slack from October 2015 to July 2022, where Gabe was instrumental in building a legal team and overseeing all legal functions during significant company milestones, including fundraising and a public listing. Gabe also worked as Lead Counsel for Facebook’s Internet.org initiative from August 2014 to October 2015 and served as Managing Counsel for Emerging Businesses at salesforce.com from November 2008 to July 2014, managing early-stage acquisitions. Beginning a legal career as an Associate at White & Case from September 2006 to October 2008, Gabe represented clients across various industries in technology transactions. Academic credentials include a B.S. in Biology and Biological Anthropology & Anatomy from Duke University, an MBA from USC Marshall School of Business, and a JD from USC Gould School of Law.
