Pedro Teixeira

Pedro Teixeira is the current Director of Research at The Synthesis Institute. Prior to this, they served as the Diretor do Programa Nacional para a Promoção da Atividade Física from June 2016 to December 2018. Before that, they were the Presidente of the International Society of Behavioral Nutrition and Physical Activity from May 2013 to May 2014. Pedro has also worked as a Research Associate at The University of Arizona from July 1997 to July 2001.

Pedro Teixeira has a Ph.D. in Nutritional Sciences from the University of Arizona, an M.S. in Exercise and Wellness from Arizona State University, and a Licenciatura in Educação Física e Desporto from Faculdade de Motricidade Humana.
