Steve Hubert has a diverse and extensive work experience in the biotechnology industry. Steve started their career as a Bioprocess Engineer at Genetic Therapy, Inc., where they developed cGMP manufacturing processes for gene therapy products. Steve later joined Human Genome Sciences as a Senior Scientist, contributing to genomics-based therapeutic proteins. At Nabi Biopharmaceuticals, they managed a fermentation group and solved technical problems to improve productivity. Steve then served as the Production Director at Lentigen Corporation, where they increased throughput and provided guidance on Lentiviral vector production. Steve later became the Associate Director of Manufacturing and Process Development at Aeras Global TB Vaccine Foundation, leading a vaccine manufacturing facility and completing validation activities. Steve then joined Omnia Biologics as the Vice President of Operations, overseeing the production of gene therapeutics and vaccines. Most recently, Steve worked at Synthetic Biologics, Inc. as the Sr. Director of Manufacturing, where they managed manufacturing processes and projects for biologics, monoclonal antibodies, and small molecule drugs. Steve Hubert earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Virginia Tech, where they attended from 1983 to 1987. Steve later pursued a Master of Science degree in Biotechnology from The Johns Hopkins University, completing their studies from 1994 to 1998.
