Alessandro Cazzaniga

Alessandro Cazzaniga has extensive work experience in engineering and management roles. Alessandro began their career at Marsh as a Loss Prevention Engineer from 1993 to 1996. Alessandro then worked at SOL as a Production Engineering from 1996 to 2000. Alessandro joined PolymerLatex in 2000 as an Engineering and HSEQ Manager and stayed with the company until 2011. In 2011, they joined Synthomer as an Engineering and HSEQ Manager and later took on the role of Engineering Coordinator for the European region from 2016 to 2018. From 2014 to 2015, Alessandro led the Synthomer 2015 project, which involved implementing LEAN techniques and cost-cutting measures across various production sites. Alessandro then became the Head of Engineering Europe at Synthomer from 2019 to 2020, where they dealt with investment projects and supported local teams and project managers. Currently, Alessandro is the Group Process Engineering Lead at Synthomer, responsible for energy consumption, sustainability, decarbonization, and process technologies across the company.

Alessandro Cazzaniga completed their education at Politecnico di Milano from 1985 to 1992, earning a Dr degree in Chemical Engineering. Alessandro also holds a certification as a Professional Engineer from the Italian state.
