Edgar van Velsen

Edgar van Velsen has extensive experience in human resources management. Edgar currently serves as the Vice President HR Coatings & Construction Solutions and EMEA at Synthomer, where they are responsible for developing and implementing strategic HR solutions. Prior to this, they worked at Allnex as the HR Director EMEA, overseeing HR operations and strategy for multiple sites and countries. Edgar also held HR management positions at LyondellBasell, BaseMet, Rio Tinto, Alcoa, Emtec High Tech Industrial Solutions, Quintis/Interlink, and Coöperatie VGZ. Overall, Edgar has a strong background in developing and implementing HR strategies, leading HR teams, and supporting organizational restructuring.

Edgar van Velsen completed the Certified Executive Interim Management program at Nyenrode Business University in 2012. Edgar earned a Bachelor's degree in HR from HAN University of Applied Sciences in 1993.
