Luan Gavião

Luan Gavião has a diverse work experience in various companies and roles related to marketing, market development, global marketing, and business development. Luan currently works at Synthomer as the Marketing Communications Lead for the Adhesive Solutions Division. Prior to that, they worked at Eastman as the Global Market Development Manager in the Packaging sector. Luan also gained significant experience at Clariant, where they held various roles including Head of Global Marketing for Industrial and Home Care, Global Business Development Manager in Marketing Intelligence, and Global Technical Marketing Manager in Personal Care. Luan started their career at Ecolab as a Graduate Trainee and subsequently served as a Territory Sales Manager and Key Accounts Manager. Luan also had experience at Givaudan as a Quality Specialist and at BASF as a Research and Development assistant in Polymers. Luan began their professional journey at Bauducco, where they worked in Quality Assurance. Luan's initial experience includes an internship in Microbiology and Molecular Biology at the Instituto de Química - Universidade de São Paulo.

Luan Gavião has a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie (2006-2009) and a Chemical Technician degree from Etec Getúlio Vargas (2005-2006). In 2011-2013, Luan pursued an MBA in Marketing Management at FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas. Luan also attended Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management in 2018 for studies in Marketing/Marketing Management. Most recently, in 2022, Luan completed a program in Circular Economy and Sustainability Strategies at Cambridge Judge Business School. Luan also holds various certifications, such as Digital Marketing Expert from Udemy (2020) and Circular Economy and Sustainability Strategies from Emeritus (2022).
