Thomas Mahieu

Thomas Mahieu serves as the Operations Special Projects Manager at Synthomer since March 2023. Previously, Thomas held various roles at Eastman from May 2016 to February 2023, including Operations Controller for Adhesives, Site Controller, and Assistant Site Controller. Prior experience includes positions at INVISTA as Site Accountant and Legal Entity Accountant, and at Cafe Geen Flauw Idee as a DJ. Thomas has also worked as an Administratief Medewerker at Gemeente Bergen op Zoom and as a Financial Analyst at SABIC. Thomas completed an internship during the Master of Science program in Accounting & Control at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, following a Bachelor of Business Administration in Bedrijfseconomie from Avans University of Applied Sciences. Thomas's career began in retail at Ahold and included a financial analyst internship at SABIC Innovative Plastics.
