Batuhan Özcan has been working in the tech industry since 2015. Batuhan began their career at Turkcell as a Technical Product Manager, where they were part of an integrated M2M/IoT managerial ecosystem involved with new product development. Their roles included determining technical features and capabilities in accordance with cost concerns and market requirement analysis, as well as close cooperation with sales and marketing departments. Batuhan also worked on mobile Healthmeter and Tracking for children, for elderly projects. In 2019, Batuhan became the Founder & CEO at Syntonym.
Batuhan Özcan attended Maltepe Military High School from 2005 to 2009, where they obtained their High School degree. Batuhan then attended Blekinge Institute of Technology from 2010 to 2013, where they obtained their Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering with emphasis on Telecommunications. In 2013, they attended The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) for a course in Marketing & Management. From 2017 to 2019, they attended Imperial College London and obtained their Master of Science (MS) in Analytics. Additionally, they obtained two certifications: Applied Machine Learning from Columbia University in the City of New York in 2019, and an edX Verified Certificate for Enabling Technologies for Data Science and Analytics: The Internet of Things from edX in 2016.
