Veronica Santos

Veronica Santos is currently a Robotics Advisor at SynTouch. Prior to this position, they were an Assistant Professor at Arizona State University from July 2008 to June 2014, where they directed the ASU Biomechatronics Laboratory. Before that, they were a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Southern California from April 2007 to July 2008, where they developed bio-inspired tactile sensors and grip control strategies for prosthetic hands. Her first job was as a Research and Development Engineer at Guidant from February 2000 to June 2001, where they designed and tested coronary stent delivery systems.

Veronica Santos has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and a M.S. and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University. Her minor is in Biometry.
