Ahmed Zobi is the current Founder and CEO of Syntr Health Technologies, as well as a previous Student Researcher at The Edwards Lifesciences Center for Advanced Cardiovascular Technology. At Syntr, Ahmed is working on creating a tissue-engineered heart valve comprised of cells seeded onto a Nitinol Mesh. Prior to their time at Syntr, Ahmed worked with the Wound Healing Society, ALPSlimb, Nucleate, and Kauffman Foundation. At UC Irvine, Ahmed observed the relationships between native mitral and tricuspid valves to better understand their properties in the human heart.
Ahmed Zobi has an EMBA from the Quantic School of Business and Technology, as well as a bachelor's degree in biomedical/medical engineering from UC Irvine. Ahmed also has certification from Quantic in blockchain specialization, startup entrepreneurship, US business law specialization, operations management, data and decisions, market and economies, accounting, and business foundation.
