Rich Gibbons is a seasoned professional in IT Asset Management (ITAM) and software licensing, currently serving as the Head of ITAM Market Development & Engagement at Synyega since May 2024. Rich's expertise extends to founding Cloudy with a chance of Licensing and being an active member of the FinOps Foundation since April 2019. With a considerable background as Managing Director and ITAM Services Director at ITAM Review, Rich has been pivotal in developing and delivering a variety of ITAM and licensing-related services, including webinars and online training sessions. Rich's earlier roles include training on Microsoft licensing at Licensing School and managing software sales at Bechtle Direct Ltd. Rich holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from The Open University and A-Levels in Psychology, History, and Media from Lancaster and Morecambe College.
