Mel Chen

Mel Chen is a seasoned financial professional currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer at Syon Capital since September 2022. Prior to this role, Mel Chen held multiple positions at Merrill Lynch from February 2008 to April 2022, culminating in the role of Senior Private Wealth Investment Manager, and has experience as a Vice President and Private Wealth Relationship Manager. In addition, Mel Chen contributed to community development as the Director of the Professional Development Committee for NAAAP Boston from September 2010 to January 2013 and served as the Associate Director for Volunteer Management during the 2011 NAAAP National Convention. Mel Chen holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from UMass Boston.
