Sue Walsh

Principal, Design at SYPartners

Sue Walsh is a New York City-based design executive who currently serves as the Principal of Design at SYPartners. Sue has over two decades of experience in the design industry, having worked with some of the world's most prestigious brands and publications.

Walsh began their career as a designer with Otherwise Incorporated in September 2001. Sue spent three years with the company before moving to Milton Glaser Inc, where they served as Senior Art Director for nine years. In January 2007, they joined The New York Times as Art Director, a position they held for two years before returning to Milton Glaser.

In May 2001, Walsh founded their own design studio, Susan Walsh Inc. The studio worked with a variety of clients, including the School of Visual Arts, for whom Walsh designed a series of posters that were featured in the school's annual Student Exhibition.

Sue Walsh completed a BFA in Graphic Design from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and an MFA in Design from the School of Visual Arts.

Some of their coworkers include Sabrina Clark - Managing Partner, Jason Baer - Managing Partner, and Lisa Maulhardt - Executive Vice President. Sue Walsh reports to Jessica Orkin, Chief Executive Officer.
