J Francis Manning

J Francis Manning, Ed.D. is an experienced educational leader currently serving as the Executive Director/Planning STEAM Principal for the Syracuse City School District, overseeing the development of Central New York's first STEAM High School. Manning is also a Consultant focused on urban/suburban regional high school and worker training center development, an Executive Search Consultant with McPherson & Jacobson, LLC, and a Leadership Coach at the University of Rochester - Warner School of Education. Additional roles include hosting the "Innovate to Educate" program at WCNY, serving as an Executive Mentor at St. John Fisher University, and previously leading as the NYS District Superintendent & BOCES CEO and Superintendent in various districts. Manning's academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science from Buffalo State University, an MBA from Le Moyne College, an Ed.D. in Executive Leadership from St. John Fisher University, and a Master of Science from Syracuse University, along with advanced certification in Educational Leadership.
