Gary F Grates

Gary F. Grates is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in business transformation, organizational communications, and strategy execution. Currently serving as Managing Partner at GConsulting Group since March 2025, Gary has also held roles on the Board of Directors for The Plank Center for Leadership in Public Relations and as Co-Director of The Weiss Center at Syracuse University's S. I. Newhouse School of Public Communications since January 2011. Additionally, Gary serves as a Trustee for the Institute for Public Relations and as an Adjunct Professor at the S.I. Newhouse School. Previous leadership experience includes a term as President of 120/80 GROUP and involvement with Aimcast as an Advisory Board member. Gary holds a Master's degree in Communications Management from Syracuse University and has contributed to corporate communications education through international collaborations and teaching.
