Chad Jones

Chad Jones is a seasoned network engineering professional with extensive experience in the design and management of fiber optic transport networks. Currently serving as a Senior Network Engineer at Syringa Networks since January 2011, Chad is responsible for planning and engineering long-haul and metro fiber optic networks utilizing DWDM and SONET technologies across Southern Idaho and the Wasatch Front in Utah. Prior roles include Manager of Network Engineering and Manager of Network Operations at American Fiber Systems, where oversight involved circuit planning and the management of lit fiber network service operations. Chad's career also features significant contributions as a Senior Network Engineer at Idacomm and experience in network operations at Rocky Mountain Communications and Valley Internet. Chad holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Washington State University.
