Vinay Sawant

Vinay Sawant has a diverse work experience spanning over several positions and companies. Vinay currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer at Syrma SGS Technology Limited since June 2023. Prior to this, they were the Chief Executive Officer at Tapas Services from December 2022.

Starting from 2020 to 2022, Vinay was the Country Manager at Cepton. Vinay held the position of Project Manager Program Management Office at Altran from March 2019 to December 2019. From 2010 to 2018, they worked as a Program Manager Program Management Office at LSI, an Avago Technologies Company. Vinay also served as the Chief Executive Officer at Tapas Services from 2008 to 2010.

Vinay has a long tenure at Qualcomm, where they held multiple roles. From 2004 to 2008, they were a Staff Engineer / Manager in Semiconductor Hardware Design. Before that, from 1998 to 2004, they were an Organization Manager, leading the Semiconductor Services team in SOC design, verification, emulation. Prior to Qualcomm, Vinay worked at CDAC as an Embedded System Developer in 1997 and at Bharat Electronics Limited as an Electronic Technician in 1988.

Between 1992 and 1997, Vinay worked at Anshuman Tech Private Limited, initially as an Organization Manager and later as a Freelance Consultant.

Vinay Sawant has a strong education background in the field of technology and electronics. Vinay completed a Bachelor of Science in Technology, with a focus on Computer Technology, from Watumull Institute of Electronic Engineering and Computer Technology from 1989 to 1992. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science in Electronics from Fergusson College from 1986 to 1989.
