Heather Peterson

Heather Peterson currently serves as an Executive Assistant to the SVP, Chief Supply Chain Officer at Sysco since April 2024. Prior to this role, Heather was the Manager of Contracts and Executive Assistant to the President/CEO at Signet Maritime Corporation from October 2022 to April 2024. Heather's extensive experience also includes serving as the Corporate Executive Coordinator at Signet Maritime Corporation and as the Preschool Director at Second Baptist Church in Houston, TX, for 16 years. Early in the career, Heather worked as a Classroom Teacher at Alief ISD and as an Account Manager/Administrative Assistant at Joe Max Green Insurance Concept. Heather holds a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus on Early Childhood Education and Teaching from Stephen F. Austin State University and graduated from Carthage High School.
