Ross Humphrey

Ross Humphrey has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Ross currently holds the role of Chief AI Officer at SysGroup since November 2023. Prior to that, they were the Head of Software Development at Rebura LTD. from April 2022 to November 2023, where they built a Software Development practice focusing on SaaS transformation, software development, innovation, and machine learning. In addition, they achieved the AWS SaaS competency and delivered a Generative AI project on AWS, making Rebura LTD. one of the first consultancies to do so.

Before their role at Rebura LTD., Ross served as the Team Principal - Technology at Validus Risk Management from April 2020 to March 2022. Ross also held the position of Lead Developer at Belron® International from July 2018 to April 2020.

Ross's earlier work experience includes their role as a Global Technology - Associate at JPMorgan Chase & Co. from September 2012 to July 2018. Ross also worked as a Specialist at Apple Inc. from September 2011 to June 2012, offering advice on Apple and third-party hardware and software, as well as troubleshooting technical issues for customers.

Ross started their career as a Software Engineering Intern at Clearswift from July 2010 to July 2011, where they developed in-house applications and constructed installers for mainline software.

Additionally, while attending the University of Reading, Ross received a grant for a summer research internship, collaborating with a Ph.D. student to extend their work carried out during their final year at university.

Ross Humphrey graduated with a BSc in Applied Computer Science from the University of Reading in 2012. Prior to that, they attended Herschel Grammar School from 2001 to 2008, where they completed their GCSEs and A Levels in multiple subjects. Ross has also obtained several certifications from Amazon Web Services (AWS), including AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional in August 2021, AWS Cloud Practitioner in July 2019, and AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate in February 2020.
