Senior Character Artist at System Era Softworks

Sarah Kisor has extensive experience in the field of character artistry. Sarah most recently worked at System Era Softworks as a Senior Character Artist starting in 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Mojang Studios/Microsoft from 2017 to 2021, serving as a Lead 3D Artist. In this role, they led a team of artists, collaborated with design and engineering teams, and contributed to the visual development of Minecraft Earth and Character Creator. Before that, Sarah worked at Microsoft as a 3D Artist from 2015 to 2017, where they created character skins and marketing assets for Minecraft, including collaborations with external companies. Sarah also gained experience as a Character Artist at Glu Mobile in 2015, working on the creation of animal and weapon assets for Deer Hunter 2016. Sarah's early experience includes a student assistant role at the Art Institute of Seattle from 2012 to 2014, as well as an internship as a Production Assistant at Camouflaj in 2014.

Sarah Kisor attended The Art Institutes from 2011 to 2014, where they earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) degree in Game Art and Design.
