Derrick Thornton

Derrick Thornton possesses extensive experience in information security and security control assessment. Currently serving as a Security Control Assessor Test Engineer at System High Corporation, Derrick previously held the position of Federal Lead - Information Security Analyst at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security from June 2017 to the present. Derrick's career also includes a role as Security Controls Assessor Test Engineer at General Dynamics Information Technology from August 2015 to February 2023, and earlier at System High Corporation from June 2013 to August 2015 in the same capacity. Derrick holds a high school diploma from Brainerd High School and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Technology Management from DeVry University.
