Acadia clients can improve individuals’ work performance while simultaneously managing skill development across the enterprise. Our highly intuitive software provides just-in-time training and procedural information to employees, anytime, anywhere, on any web-enabled device. It enables businesses to understand employee performance and correlate their productivity to operational metrics.  

Acadia has been deployed to clients of all sizes in the manufacturing, distribution, logistics, retail banking, and field service verticals. In the last eight years, Acadia has supported hundreds of thousands of employees from the factory floor to distribution centers, in the field and in back offices around the world. 

The Marketing Manager will have the opportunity to improve and grow our demand generation capabilities. As a member of our marketing team, you’ll work with an experienced team of software industry professionals as we scale our rapidly growing portfolio of enterprise and mid-market clients.  

Essential Requirements and Responsibilities

  • Comfortable owning digital marketing objectives for demand and lead generation

  • Develop assets and campaigns that are purpose driven to meet objectives

  • Communicate comfortably with c-level executives about high-level business concepts

  • Distill key information from research and subject matter expert interviews

  • Write concise, impactful copy that’s audience appropriate and right sized for the medium

  • Love to learn, has a passion for problem solving, and fearlessly experiments

Key responsibilities we’d like you to own

You won’t work in a bubble. You’ll collaborate closely with our head of marketing, our sales and products teams, and our clients.

  • Develop and execute campaigns that help us achieve our sales, marketing, and client retention goals

  • Strategically plan campaigns that support the sales process — driving inbound demo requests, supporting demand generation, and improving client marketing campaigns

  • Develop marketing assets from assignments and proposing your own ideas

  • Optimize content and make decisions based on conversion metrics and SEO analysis – helping to increase relevant website traffic, leads, and conversions

  • Give and receive constructive feedback to ensure we meet our goals

  • Learn and help to further develop our brand’s voice

Examples of what you’d be working on

  • Emails – Well-researched and personalized ABM emails to leaders at large companies as well as more generalized email sequences for smaller organizations
  • Thought Leadership – Fact-based articles that put our clients’ challenges in context with problems we’re helping to solve. Also, SEO-driven posts that will help us place for important keywords
  • Sales Assets – Crisp, descriptive resources used by our sales team to describe product values and overcome common objections
  • Release notes – Descriptions of our new software features in terms of how they help solve client problems
  • Website copy – Informative and oriented toward problem-solving with attention to SEO
  • Client Case Studies – Compelling stories about how we’ve made tangible differences for our clients
  • Training Tools – Useful instructions, visuals, slide decks, etc. that help clients, prospects, and team members be successful using Acadia
  • Social posts – Mirroring the voice of our brand and sometimes our senior executives, plan and make regular posts to LinkedIn
  • Other stuff – We’ll make videos, infographics, and really anything else we need to get our story across

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or PR preferred

  • At least 5 years of marketing experience with increasing levels of responsibility and proven results
