Patrick Trecek

Patrick Trecek is a highly skilled Cyber Threat Hunter and Incident Responder at SIM&S, Inc., supporting the Air Force National Cyber Protection Team since November 2022. Prior experience includes serving in the United States Air Force from September 2015 to November 2022, where Patrick held various positions including Tier 2 SOC Lead Analyst and Incident Response Operator, navigating complex cyber threats in one of the largest Windows Enterprises globally. Notable achievements include the eradication of malicious cyber actors and the recovery of compromised systems. Patrick's background also includes a solid foundation as a Tier 1 SOC Lead Analyst and advanced training as a Cyber Warfare Schoolhouse student. Educational qualifications comprise a Master's degree in Cyber/Computer Forensics and Counterterrorism from the SANS Technology Institute, a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Virginia Tech, and two Associate's degrees from the Community College of the Air Force in Cyber/Computer Forensics and Airframe Mechanics.
