Marco Lotterio is a highly experienced engineering professional with a focus on aeronautical engineering. Currently serving as Principal Research Engineer at Systems Technology, Inc. since December 2021, Marco previously held significant roles, including Director of the National Flight Test Institute and Chief Technical Officer at the National Test Pilot School from June 2013 to November 2021, as well as Principal Aeronautical Engineer at Calspan Corporation from January 2009 to May 2013. Earlier in their career, Marco was the Head of Experimental Aerodynamics and Aerodynamic Modeling Engineering at Alenia Aermacchi from November 2000 to November 2008. Academic credentials include a Master’s Degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Università di Pisa and additional studies at the Technical University of Munich.
