Holly Hamlett

User Experience Designer at SYZYGY GROUP

Holly Hamlett has a diverse work experience in user experience (UX) design and visual merchandising. Holly is currently employed at SYZYGY as a User Experience Designer since October 2019. Prior to that, they worked at The Telegraph as a User Experience Manager for Telegraph Travel Solutions from June 2018 to October 2019.

Holly has also worked as a freelance UX Designer for various organizations. In 2018, they worked with Generation Success, a not-for-profit organization, to improve their website's usability and user journey. Holly also worked with CLARITY - The Soap Co. to enhance the content and conversion rate of their e-commerce site.

In 2017, Holly freelanced for The Telegraph, where they redesigned the review page for the travel section. Holly also worked on a project for Comb App, designing a website that incorporated user feedback and improved the user experience.

Before transitioning to UX design, Holly worked at Marks and Spencer in various roles. Holly was a Visual Merchandising Co-ordinator from July 2015 to June 2017. Prior to that, they served as a Stylist, excelling in time management and customer service. Holly also held the position of Visual Merchandising Manager from November 2007 to December 2012, where they designed communication tools, managed a team, and ensured effective product launches.

Holly Hamlett's education history includes several different institutions and programs. In 2000, they attended ACS International School where they pursued their International Baccalaureate. After completing their high school education, they enrolled at Goldsmiths, University of London in 2002 and obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Communications & Sociology in 2005. In 2013, Holly Hamlett pursued short courses at the University of the Arts London, where they expanded their knowledge in various subjects. Most recently, in 2017, they attended General Assembly and completed their User Experience Design Immersive program.
