Shreya Shah

Dr. Shreya Shah is the Director of Technology at Syzygy Plasmonics and leads the development of their core platform technologies. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology in India and a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Washington State University. For more than a decade Dr. Shah has worked on multiple green hydrogen generation technologies including reforming biofuels and developing plasmonic nanomaterials for water splitting. She joined Syzygy in February 2018 as Lead Chemical Engineer and has worked closely with the technology team to advance their photoreactor technology from the lab to the pilot phase. She has garnered multiple patents relating to photoreactors, catalyst development, and related systems while with the company. She is passionate about working in green energy. Her main goals are to help electrify the Chemical Industry and to help Syzygy realize its mission to reduce 1 gigaton of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere by 2030.
