David Ginder

David Ginder has extensive experience in engineering and management roles in the energy industry. David is currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Acculon Energy, a position they have held since May 2023. Prior to this, they were the Senior Director of Engineering and Compliance at MPINarada, where they directed design, qualification, and compliance of lithium ion and alkaline electro-chemistries and control electronics.

Before joining MPINarada, David worked at EnerSys as the Senior Director of Verification and Validation. In this role, they oversaw the qualification, verification, validation, and certification of emerging products in lithium ion and alkaline electro-chemistries. David was also responsible for managing state-of-the-art test facilities and skilled engineering teams across the Americas and Europe.

Earlier in their career, David held positions at Saft America and Saft, where they served as the Global Validation and Test Engineering Manager and Manager of Certification and System Test, respectively. In these roles, they managed test lab facilities, certification, validation, and qualification activities for lithium and alkaline batteries. David led teams in product certification and compliance testing, ensuring adherence to global standards and customer requirements.

David also has experience as the Director of Engineering for Advanced Projects at Firefly International Energy, where they oversaw the engineering department and was involved in research and development, process development, design, and market strategies. David also held positions at MicroSun Technologies, Orbital Sciences Corporation, Eagle Picher Technologies, and Marathon Norco Aerospace, where they gained experience in systems engineering, battery systems development, and engineering management.

David Ginder received a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Aerospace Engineering from Iowa State University, where they studied from 1979 to 1984.
