Ali Ünal

Ali Ünal is an experienced communications professional currently serving as the Turkish Press Councillor in Beijing at T.C. İletişim Başkanlığı since May 2018. Prior to this role, Ali Ünal was the Ankara Bureau Chief at DAILY SABAH from November 2013 to May 2018 and worked as the Managing Editor for Insight Turkey at the SETA Foundation from July 2011 to November 2013. Ali Ünal also served as a Press and Public Relations Advisor for the Prime Ministry (T.C. Başbakanlık) between January 2009 and July 2011. Educational qualifications include a Diploma in News Journalism from the London School of Journalism, an MBA in International Management from the University of East London, a Diploma in Financial Markets from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and a Lisans Derecesi from Istanbul University in Political Science.
