Professor Nolan Sharkey Fca

Professor Nolan Sharkey FCA is a Winthrop Professor of Law at The University of Western Australia since November 2013, where Professor Nolan established the Masters of Taxation Law with various specialist options and serves as Associate Dean (International) for the Law Faculty. In addition to their academic roles, Sharkey is an International Tax Expert for the United Nations ESCAP and provides tax advice as a Barrister at Francis Burt Chambers. Previous positions include Visiting Professorial Fellow at UNSW Australia, Associate Professor of International Tax at the University of New South Wales, and International Taxation Consultant at the Australian Taxation Office. Sharkey holds multiple degrees in taxation, law, and accounting from various institutions, including a Ph.D. in Taxation with a focus on China, and is a Fellow Chartered Accountant.
