Merve Kizilaslan

Merve Kizilaslan currently serves as the International Broadcasts Coordination and Editorial Strategy Unit Supervisor at T.C. İletişim Başkanlığı, overseeing Turkey's foreign and international language media channels, and providing editorial support while liaising with regulatory bodies. Previously, Merve held multiple roles at TRT World, including Output Producer, where responsibilities encompassed scriptwriting, content production, and collaboration with editorial teams. Merve also contributed as an Executive Assistant to the TRT World Director, focusing on strategic editorial management, and as an Author/Digital Producer, producing in-depth articles for the TRT World website. Additional experience includes a Project Assistant position at the SETA Foundation and a trainee role in the Security and Foreign Policy Unit of the Turkish Presidency. Merve holds a Master of Arts in Political Science and International Relations from Ibn Haldun University and has a strong educational background from Istanbul Bilgi University and Lycée Français Saint-Michel.
