T-Cypher Bio
Amalia Martínez Segura is a Senior Bioinformatician at T-Cypher Bio since April 2022, previously serving as a Computational Biologist at GSK from April 2020 to April 2022 and as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the MRC London Institute of Medical Sciences between November 2017 and April 2020. Amalia completed a PhD at Imperial College London from 2013 to 2017, following a Master's degree in Molecular Biomedicine from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (2012-2013) and a Licentiate degree in Biotechnology from Universidad Pablo de Olavide (2007-2012). Notable early contributions include a Master's thesis focused on functional validation of genomic boundary elements and participation in the iGEM contest characterizing an expression system in Escherichia coli. Additionally, Amalia was involved in organizing the 43rd European Brain and Behaviour Society Meeting in 2011.
