Dr. Eric Danner has a diverse work experience in various scientific and educational roles. Dr. Eric currently works at T-knife Therapeutics as a Team Lead/Scientist, leading gene editing work focused on cancer T-cell immunotherapy. Prior to this role, they worked as a Gene Editing Scientist II at T-knife, where they were responsible for mouse generation, cell line modification, and T-cell editing.

Before joining T-knife, Dr. Danner served as a Genetics Researcher at the Max Delbrück Center from 2016 to 2021. In this role, they conducted research on gene editing techniques across different cell types like iPSCs, B-cells, and T-cells, with a special focus on CRISPR.

Earlier in their career, Dr. Danner worked as a Graduate Researcher at UC Santa Barbara, where they conducted biochemical characterization of proteins in intertidal mussel species. Dr. Eric'sresearch aimed to understand the remarkable properties of these proteins and their potential applications. Dr. Eric also worked as a Laboratory Researcher in Biomaterials and as an Undergraduate Chemistry Researcher during their time at UC Santa Barbara.

In addition to their research roles, Dr. Danner has a strong background in education. Dr. Eric worked as a Chemistry Educator and Private Educator at UCSB Campus Tutoring Agency, where they taught general chemistry to undergraduates and provided private tutoring in biology, chemistry, and math.

Outside of their scientific work, Dr. Danner has experience as an Outdoor Educator at Wilderness Youth Project, where they facilitated outdoor education activities.

Dr. Eric Danner's education history is as follows:

From 2016 to 2021, Dr. Danner attended Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Genetics.

During the same period, they also pursued a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Genetics at the Max Delbrück Center.

From 2011 to 2015, Dr. Danner studied at UC Santa Barbara, where they earned a Master's degree in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology with a focus on Biomaterials.

In addition, from 2011 to 2013, they obtained a Certificate in Technology Management from UC Santa Barbara.

Dr. Danner's undergraduate education took place from 2006 to 2010 at UC Santa Barbara's College of Creative Studies. Dr. Eric graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and Biochemistry.
