Prior to their current roles, Christiaan worked at BASE Company, where they were the Head of Market Intelligence from 2014 to 2017. Before that, they served as the Secretary to the Board (CEO Challenger) from 2011 to 2014.

Christiaan also has experience at Telenet, where they worked in Corporate Planning & Reporting from 2009 to 2011 and as a Senior Analyst Investor Relations from 2007 to 2009.

Additionally, they have worked as a Consultant at Deloitte Consulting from 2005 to 2007 and as a Business Controller at Johnson & Johnson from 2004 to 2005. Christiaan started their professional career as an Underwriter at Atradius in 2003.

Christiaan Sluijs has a strong education history primarily focused on finance and commercial sciences. In 1998, they attended Lessius Hogeschool Antwerpen, where they pursued a degree in Commercial Sciences with a specialization in Accountancy & Tax. Christiaan successfully completed their degree in 2002 and received a distinction for their performance. Following this, in 2002, Christiaan enrolled at the University of Antwerp to pursue a Master of Finance degree. Christiaan completed their master's program with distinction in 2003.
