Michelle Swanenburg

Michelle Swanenburg is the head of Human Resources and is a vice president of T. Rowe Price Group, Inc. She is a member of the firm's Management Committee and serves on the Risk and Operational Steering Committee and the Management Compensation Committee. She is also a member of the Diversity and Inclusion Operating Council (DIOC).

Prior to rejoining T. Rowe Price, Inc. in December 2019, Michelle spent 4 years as the head of Human Resources at Oaktree Capital Management where she significantly enhanced the HR function, built a diversity and inclusion program, and managed the engagement of employees through talent development programs. She was a member of Oaktree’s management committee and senior leadership council. Michelle spent the previous 18 years at T. Rowe Price, Inc. in various HR leadership roles. Prior to her departure, she was head of Business Partners for 10 of those years, leading the team in supporting succession planning, talent acquisition, performance management, and compensation across the enterprise. She completed an assignment during that time working in London building the HR team abroad.
