William "Skip" Paetz has extensive experience in naval engineering and port management, currently serving as the Director of Port Engineer Training at T-Solutions, Inc. since July 2009, while also holding the position of U.S. Navy Port Engineer for USS BULKELEY (DDG-84). Previously, Paetz worked at Camber Corporation from July 2005 to December 2016 as a U.S. Port Engineer, maintaining USS BULKELEY and USS NITZE (DDG-94) for their 40-year lifespan. Earlier roles include serving as Electronics Material Officer on USS IWO JIMA (LHD-7) from 1999 to 2003 and as EMO on USS MITSCHER (DDG-57) from 1993 to 1997. Paetz holds a Master's degree in Management Information Systems and Services and a Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems from the University of Maryland Global Campus.
