Sergi Ibañez

Sergi Ibañez has a diverse work experience in the IT sector, primarily focusing on the public sector. Sergi started their career in 2001 as a Software Development Subdirector at TAO. Sergi then worked as a GIS Production Director at gedas from 2003 to 2005. After that, they joined TAO (gedas group) as a Technical and Innovation Director for the Public Sector in Spain. In 2006, Sergi joined T-Systems as a Manager at the Public Sector & Health Unit. Sergi later became the Health Information Systems Unit Director, where they led various functional and technical teams and managed SAP deployment projects. Since 2009, Sergi has been the Head of Business Unit TAO Software (IT Public Sector) at T-Systems. In this role, they are responsible for sales, delivery, budgeting, forecasting, R&D financial strategy, and reporting to the T-Systems Board of Directors.

Sergi Ibañez holds an MBA degree from Esade, which they obtained from 2000 to 2002. Prior to that, they completed a Diplomado in Empresariales at the Universitat de Barcelona from 1995 to 1999. Sergi also holds a Licenciado degree in Computer Science from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, which they earned from 1989 to 1994.
