Victor Martínez Escribano

Victor Martínez Escribano has a strong background in cybersecurity and technology risk. Victor is currently the Head of Cybersecurity at T-Systems Iberia. Prior to that, they held the position of Head of CyberSecurity at Alstom (Spain&Portugal-DIS) where they focused on ensuring safe and secure mobility. Victor has also worked at KPMG España and Deloitte España as a Senior Manager and Manager respectively, specializing in cybersecurity risk advisory. During their time at IBM Security, they served as a Project Leader for security services. Before that, they worked at Indra Sistemas in various management roles, leading cybersecurity initiatives for big strategic clients in the banking sector and other industries. Victor's earlier experience includes positions at Quiero TV, Vía Digital (Grupo Telefónica), QUARK Software & Services, and Accenture. Overall, they bring a wealth of experience in cybersecurity strategy, governance, transformation, defense, and response.

Victor Martínez Escribano has a Master's Degree in Management and Direction of Information Security from Universidad Pontificia de Salamanca / Asimelec, obtained between 2005 and 2006. Victor also has an Advanced Management Program degree from ESIC Business & Marketing School, completed in 2008, with a focus on project management of information technology. Additionally, Victor has a Technical Specialist degree in IT from Escuela de Sistemas Informáticos (ESI), Madrid, obtained between 1989 and 1991. In terms of certifications, they have obtained the ITIL Foundations V3 certification from EXIN management consultants in 2010, the Prince2 Foundations certification from APM Group in 2008, and the CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) certification from ISACA (Information System Audit and Control Association) in 2007.
