Atiq H. Alvi

Atiq H. Alvi, P.E. has extensive work experience in the field of bridge repair and rehabilitation. Starting in 1994, they worked for the Florida Department of Transportation as a Structures Maintenance Engineer, overseeing the inspection, maintenance, and rehabilitation of state-owned bridges. Atiq H. then joined EC Driver & Associates, Inc. as a Senior Bridge Engineer/Project Manager in 2001 before moving on to Parsons Brinckerhoff in 2002. At Parsons Brinckerhoff, they served as a Senior Project Manager and managed the Bridge Repair and Rehabilitation Section, working on various projects. Since 2010, Atiq has been working at T.Y. Lin International as the Vice President and National Lead for Bridge Rehabilitation/Unit Manager, where they are responsible for the financial performance of the unit and project and prepares the Annual Operating Plan for profit and growth goals.

Atiq H. Alvi, P.E. obtained a Master of Science in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Structural Engineering with Thesis from the University of South Florida between 1986 and 1991. Additionally, they hold a certification as a Registered Professional Engineer from the State of Florida Department of Professional Regulation.
