Luis Orantes

Luis Orantes is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in planning and environmental leadership. Currently serving as Principal and Planning & Environmental Leader at TYLin since March 2025, Luis also contributes as a Board Member and Treasurer for the Ontario Association for Impact Assessment since December 2021. Previously, Luis held the position of Environmental Director at Webuild from March 2024 to March 2025 and served as Director for the Provincial Business Line at Parsons Corporation from September 2022 to January 2024. Prior to that, Luis was a Principal Consultant and Associate Vice President at HDR from January 2022 to September 2022. Luis's educational background includes an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Urban Social & Economic Geography, Geographic Information Systems, and Political Science from the University of Toronto, supplemented by additional studies at the University of Sussex.
