Nelson Stone

Nelson Stone, P.E. has over 30 years of work experience in the civil engineering field. Nelson started their career at SEA Engineers as a Project Engineer in 1985 and then moved on to MEA Engineers as a Senior Engineer from 1987 to 1989. Nelson then joined FES Consulting Engineers as a Princ. Civil Engineer from 1989 to 1994. After that, they worked at The WLB Group Inc as the Director of Operations from 1994 to 2004. Nelson then became a Planning Commissioner for the City of North Las Vegas from 1996 to 2004, and later served as the Planning Commissioner for the City of North Las Vegas again from 2012 to 2017. Nelson also held the position of V.P. Forward Planning and Land Development at Celebrate Homes Land Development from 2004 to 2008. Nelson then worked at Kimley Horn and Associates as the Director/Senior Practice Builder from 2008 to 2009. Currently, they are the Associate Vice President - Nevada Operations Manager at T.Y. Lin International since 2009. Additionally, Nelson holds the role of Planning Commissioner for Clark County starting from 2017.

Nelson Stone, P.E. obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas in 1986. Nelson holds professional engineering licenses in Civil Engineering from the States of Arizona, California, Florida, Nevada, and Utah.
