Matthew Raine

Matthew Raine has a diverse work experience in the hospitality and investment banking industries. Matthew is currently serving as the Chief Investment Officer at T2 Hospitality since February 2020. Prior to this, Matthew worked at Evolution Hospitality for a decade, starting in November 2010. Matthew'srole there was EVP of Investments and Business Development, where they focused on generating new revenue for the company and securing third-party hotel management contracts, as well as assisting with acquisition analysis and execution. From 2009 to 2010, Matthew was the SVP of Development at Hard Rock Hotel Holdings. Matthew also held the position of VP of Hotel Development at Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc for a decade, from 1998 to 2008. Matthew began their career as an Investment Banking Analyst at Credit Suisse First Boston, where they worked from 1996 to 1998.

Matthew Raine received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics with a focus on Accounting from Claremont McKenna College, which they attended from 1994 to 1996.
