Alain Mazé

Alain Mazé is a Senior Scientist at T3 Pharmaceuticals AG since June 2020, following a research role at D-BSSE, ETH Zurich from June 2016 to June 2020. Prior to these positions, Alain conducted a short research project at the University of Fribourg in late 2015 and took paternity leave for part of 2015. Alain served as an Assistant Professor at E.S.B.S from October 2013 to January 2015, focusing on synthetic gene networks for medical applications and teaching synthetic biology. Research experience includes working at the University of Basel from November 2007 to September 2013, examining Salmonella typhimurium virulence, and postdoctoral positions at INRA Agrocampus-Ouest (2005-2007) studying virulence in bacteria and genome sequencing, and University College Cork (2004-2005) on metabolic regulation of Bifidobacterium breve. Alain holds a PhD in Microbiology from Université de Caen Normandie and a Master's in Molecular Biology from Université de Rennes I.
