Usatyuk Vasiliy

Usatyuk Vasiliy has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Usatyuk is currently working as the Head Engineer at T8 l INFINITE TECHNOLOGIES from 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Principal R&D Engineer (AI/ML/DL) at T8 Sensor starting in 2021. From 2015 to an unspecified end date, Usatyuk worked as a Senior Research Scientist Mathematician at South-West State University, where they focused on deepening their knowledge in various fields such as statistical physics, machine learning, and economics.

Before joining South-West State University, Usatyuk was employed by Huawei Technologies. Usatyuk's experience at Huawei also includes working as a Senior Research Engineer at the Dr. Vladimir Ivanov ECC Labs from 2013 to 2017. In this position, they developed methods for designing factor and bipartite graphs, prototyped algorithms in MATLAB and C/C++, and conducted research on various aspects of code design and optimization. Usatyuk has also contributed to the development of codes for wireless communications, including 5G.

Before joining Huawei, Usatyuk worked at Bratsk State University from 2008 to 2013. In this role, they served as a Mathematician-Algorithms Design Engineer and Chairman of Information Theory Labs. Usatyuk made significant contributions to the field of post-quantum cryptography, particularly lattice-based cryptography, and won the High Dimension Ideal Lattice Short Vector Problem Challenge at TU Darmstadt.

Furthermore, Usatyuk has developed platforms for information theory-related applications and soft decoding channel coding for binary and non-binary codes. These platforms have been utilized in early-stage verification for ASIC, FPGA, and other systems, improving their efficiency and reliability.

Usatyuk attended Bratsk State University from 2004 to 2009, where they obtained a degree in Fundamental Mathematics und Computer Science, focusing on Mathematics and Computer Science. Later, from 2015 to 2022, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Information Theory and Applied Topology at South West State University.
